Privacy & SMS terms

Pathfound (ABN 58 493 737 422) provides AI-assisted database reactivation for Australian businesses. This page explains what personal information we handle and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Whose information we handle
We work on behalf of our business clients. When a client engages us, they provide contact details of their own past enquiries and customers (for example: name, phone number, email, and the nature of the original enquiry). We act as a service provider processing that information on the client's behalf and instructions.
What we do with it
- Send SMS and/or email on the client's behalf to restart a conversation with people who previously enquired with that client.
- Qualify replies and book interested people into the client's calendar.
- Store the conversation and outcome so the client can follow up.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one client's data to benefit another.
SMS messaging & opt-out
Messages are sent only to contacts supplied by our client who have a prior relationship with that client. Every message identifies who it is from. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP — you will receive no further messages, and the opt-out is recorded. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Email & unsubscribe
Marketing emails include a working unsubscribe link and our business identity, as required by the Spam Act. Unsubscribe requests are actioned promptly.
Data security & retention
Information is held in reputable third-party platforms used to run the messaging and booking (for example a CRM and messaging provider) under their security controls. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service to the relevant client, or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction & complaints
To request access to, or correction of, information we hold about you — or to make a privacy complaint — email [email protected]. If a message you received relates to a specific business, we can also direct your request to that business as the data owner. Unresolved complaints can be referred to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
